Cruise Planners Visual Designs

Here you can see some assets I worked on for Cruise Planners. I worked on various projects for both mobile and web applications. As well as proprietary and enterprise software applications. I was the sole UX/UI Designer in the company during my time there. I collaborated and worked cross-functionally with project managers and developers on these projects. However, all the UI designs and visuals seen here are exclusively my designs.

For this project, I was asked to come up with a new design for the company landing page. The marketing department requested a design that would feature a “night time” or “dusk” beach hero image, and also a “day time” beach hero image and they wanted the backgrounds to continually rotate. Below is my example of the “Daytime” background. My objective was to offer a cleaner/ less cluttered design that would give the site a more modern look that would cater to users needs, which was making it easier to navigate.

These are a few wireframes and mobile screens from the CP mobile app I worked on. This app is in production on the app store.

American Express RezSaver Air Booking Tool

Cruise Planners is partners with American Express Travel. In my time with Cruise Planners, I worked on various projects for Amex Travel. Below you’ll see some visual assets from the RezSaver tool. It’s an agent-only portal that offers access to Amex preferred supplier offers, booking, and marketing tools. I was tasked with redesigning the portal to update the look and feel, while also improving the usablility of the tool.

Trip Summary Tool

Below are a couple of visuals from the Trip Summary tool that I was asked to do a full redesign on. Trip Summary is a tool that our agents used to build custom trip itineraries for clients. You could add components like cruises, flights, lodging, restaurants, tours, etc… and then the agents would send the Trip Summaries to the clients. The previous version of the tool was dated and confusing for our agents to navigate. My objective was to improve the tool aesthetically, but more importantly, to improve the usability. For this project I utilized a UX Framework and started from scratch with research, writing a problem statement, going over features, I ran moderated usability testing sessions on the old interface to see where users had issues and used their feedback to iterate on the design. Below are a couple of examples of the new interface I designed. I received very positive feedback on the new direction.
